Modern newspapers and magazines mention felt gers, but there are almost no books written particularly about it. In the late 1950s, A.Damdinsuren (Associate Doctor of Medicine) studied indoor air circulation, humidity, natural lightening, and heating system of ger in Ulaanbaatar city, Khentii, and Khovd provinces and published his book named "Hygienics of the Ger: UB 1960." The book published only 5000 copies at the time.
Later, in 1972, D. Maidar published a book entitled "Mongolian Architecture and Urban Development," In the first chapter, he wrote about the architecture of Mongolian ger. In short, this text reflects the theoretical issues of the Mongolian ger and includes dozens of drawings of ger-type construction.
